Students' Lunch Order System
Teachers' Lunch Order System
Volunteer Form to Serve Lunch

How to Use the Online Lunch System

  1. Access the system by clicking on the "Lunch Ordering System" link above.
  2. Enter your e-mail address and child’s first name, then press “Let’s Go”
  3. Enter your child’s last name.
  4. Enter your child’s AM class, your full name (first and last), and day and evening phone numbers. If you have not yet received your child’s AM class, or their AM class is not listed, simply select any class in the child’s grade. The accurate classes will be put into the system when the information is available. ME indicates Mehina.
  5. Place a check mark on the days you want to order lunch for this child.
  6. Press “Submit” button to enter your order. You will then see a confirmation page showing your order for this child along with payment instructions. You may print this page by pressing “File” and then “Print”
  7. If you want to make changes, press the “Back to Previous Page” button.
  8. If you want to place an order for another child, press the button to do so.
  9. Once you are done ordering for each of your children, please press the button that says “Fill out Volunteer Form.” Please click on at least three dates that you are able to serve lunch. This page shows how many people have already volunteered for each date. Remember, we would like four volunteers for each lunch date and the system will allow for only four volunteers per day. Fridays tend to be popular days to volunteer, so if you want to serve lunch on Fridays, please sign up early!
Assume these dates are fine, unless you get a call or e-mail to tell you otherwise. Remember that nannies and grandparents are always welcome. You will receive an e-mail confirming these dates. Please note these dates on your calendar. You will be reminded by e-mail within a week of your volunteer date. Shari Broder is coordinating lunch volunteers this semester.
  10. When you are done with the volunteer sheet, press “Submit.” You will be brought to a confirmation page for your volunteer dates. You may print this page by pressing “File” and then “Print.” Press “Thanks, I’m done” to complete the order process.
You will receive an e-mail confirming your order for each child. The system will total your order for you. You may pay in person on the first three days of school.

    Q & A

What other foods will be available each day?
Every day, in addition to the main course, we will offer a salad, a veggie bar with dressings, tuna and egg salads, soup, plain pasta, marinara sauce and parmesan cheese, whole wheat and rye breads with or without jelly or soy butter, and fruit or a dessert. On meat days, bottled water is served, and on dairy days, water and 2% milk is served.

Do I have to sign up for all five days?
You may sign up for one, two, three, four, or all five days. You cannot pick specific days of the month based on the menu; you must sign up for all the Mondays or all the Tuesdays, etc.

Why am I having trouble accessing my child’s order online?
The system will recognize your order by your child’s name and your e-mail address. Please make sure that this information is typed exactly as it was when you first placed your order. You must use the same email address if you go back in the system to access your order.

What if I can’t place my order online?
Call Ellen Bikales, 973-632-2232 or EBme2@aol.com if you cannot place your order online, or if you have trouble doing so.

What if I still have questions?
As always, your comments help us mold the program to meet the needs of all of our children. Please feel free to contact any of us with questions or comments.
